PharmaVentures is a global transaction advisory firm based in London, United Kingdom. The firm is seeking a senior marketing professional with at least 5 years of experience to lead its marketing activities across the board. The Marketing Director will work closely with the senior management team including teams executing sell-side mandates on behalf of our clients. The role will provide operational and creative marketing expertise across all PharmaVentures’ activities. The candidate must be able to work within a matrix organisation to develop and deliver comprehensive, cohesive and measurable marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Business Development and the management team to create and execute a marketing plan to support corporate and service promotion across relevant channels
- Generate marketing and communication content that aligns with the business development strategy of PharmaVentures and its clients
- Support with marketing activities around roadshows/campaigns/conferences
- Coordinate with internal experts to generate White Papers, articles, panel discussions, webinars, and other marketing collaterals
- Establish relationships with conference organisers, bio clusters and regional life science hubs and generate roadshows/speaker opportunities in collaboration with these organisations
- Publish a specialist quarterly review called Termsheet
- Regular updates and upgrades of the website
- Experience with CRM systems and its evolution to an integrated system
- Review and deliver improvements to PharmaVentures’ SEO initiatives
- Monitor competitor marketing activities and feed them into a forward strategy for PharmaVentures
- Develop and monitor KPIs to demonstrate added value to the company
Skills required:
- Knowledge and experience in the life science industry
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing
- At least 5 years of marketing experience in consulting/marketing agency and/or B2B marketing communications within at least one of the following: pharma, biotech, investment banking, or life sciences sectors
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Managing CRM systems (with Microsoft Dynamics or similar is a plus)
- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO and the use of social media
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills
The position is full time but a part-time position is possible with the right person.
